With no need for extra nudging, our young creators dove headfirst into making paper bags, stone and bottle paintings, clay models, and more—each piece a testament to their imagination and dedication. The floral decoration segment was equally mesmerizing, with students crafting bouquets, baskets, and vases in a dazzling array of hues that left everyone present in awe! This delightful event wasn't just about fun—it was a hands-on lesson in creativity, collaboration, and the joy of creating something beautiful together. 👏 We are striving for a world where every youth feels safe, heard, and valued.

The kindergarten wing of Faculty Higher Secondary School, North Guwahati, lit up with excitement as our little learners celebrated Red Day – A Day of Colour and Joy! Dressed head to toe in vibrant red, the tiny tots dived into a day full of fun and learning — from red fruit tasting and show-and-tell to creative colouring and craft activities. The classrooms came alive with red-themed decorations, giggles, and joyful exploration. ❤ From apples to art, everything screamed RED — and our young learners loved every moment of it! 🎯 The celebration boosted colour recognition, enriched vocabulary, and nurtured self-expression and creativity through engaging, hands-on activities, and sensory-based learning experiences.. 🌿🏫

On 10th June 2025, Faculty Higher Secondary School, North Guwahati marked a moment of pride with the inauguration of a dedicated space for the School and House Flags. The ceremonial hoisting by the founder, Sir Pradip Kumar Bhuyan and the Director, Madam Loya Sinha, House Coordinators and House representatives (students), symbolised unity, identity, and the enduring spirit of Faculty since 1982. Rooted in the vision of our founders, Madam Bonti Bhuyan and Sir Pradip Kumar Bhuyan, the event served as a reminder to all students to uphold the school motto — “Service Before Self.” Here’s to honouring tradition and inspiring leadership. 🌿🏫

Rongali Bihu celebrated with great joy at Faculty Higher Secondary School, North Guwahati Faculty Higher Secondary School, North Guwahati, celebrated the spirit of Rongali Bihu with great enthusiasm on April 12, 2025. The event began with a heartfelt felicitation of Respected Pradip Kumar Bhuyan Sir, Founding Trustee of Hati Bondhu, whose relentless efforts to mitigate human-elephant conflict earned him the prestigious Assam Gaurav Award 2024, conferred by the Hon’ble Governor of Assam, Shri Laxman Prasad Acharya. Bhuyan Sir’s journey, rooted in compassion and conservation, resonated deeply with the message of Rongali Bihu—harmony between people, culture, and nature. The celebration featured a warm address by Principal Mr. Jugal Chandra Borah, an engaging talk on the significance of Bohag Bihu, soulful Bihu songs by students and Dhiraj Sir, and a colourful Husori and Bihu dance performance. The event concluded with the distribution of traditional Bihu delicacies, filling hearts and bellies alike with festive joy. ✨ Happy Rongali Bihu! ✨.
